MPAA says “no” to SAW 3 scene with CRANK
Hey Folks,
The SAW 3 Scene saga continues…
As previously posted the first scene of SAW 3 was going to be attached to CRANK and shown as a trailer.
Due to the intense and grisly nature of the scene, Exhibition will not play the preview. I’ve seen the scene in question and I can’t argue with Exhibitions decision. It is gory, gruesome and graphic. I LOVE IT!!! But with that said I understand completely how this may not be everyone’s cup of tea/blood. Don’t worry. Keep checking this site because I’m working on having the scene showcased here at LGEXR.com. More on that to follow!
In the meantime, here is what Lionsgate will have going up with CRANK. The latest EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH trailer will be attached and the SAW 3 teaser will be enclosed with all prints.
That’s all for now!! Check back soon and check back often and please click LGEXR.com in your favorites.
Thanks for reading!

SAW 3 clip to play with CRANK!
Audiences going to see CRANK the weekend of September 1st are going to get an early Halloween treat!
Lionsgate, always on the cutting edge, re-invents the Coming Attraction by showing the first scene of the highly anticipated SAW 3! This scene was shown to a crowd of thousands at this past year’s Comic-Con and was met with thunderous applause, hoots and hollers for more!!
Now the Hard Core Adult Action/Horror Movie Fan will be treated to a similar version when they see the Jason Statham Action Movie CRANK. They will witness the gripping opening scene in which JIGSAW puts one his hapless victims through a test of character. Does he pull through?????
With the full support of the SAW film makers and even the MPAA, Lionsgate promises an unprecedented preview experience that will not only enhance visibility to the SAW franchise but add to the opening weekend of CRANK. Publicity of this special preview will reach not only the popular internet portals but print, radio and TV. This will help CRANK up that Labor Day weekend attendance at your theatre.
This Special Preview has a run time of 2:30 and while Red Band the MPAA approves the ATTACHMENT of Red Band trailers to RATED R features only. Of which CRANK is.
CRANK> will be the ONLY place this attraction will be showcased. Future SAW 3 mass placements will be with either the current teaser or a brand new trailer. Once CRANK has had its run so to will this preview.
CRANK opens Friday September 1st and stars Action Super Star Jason Statham. It is Rated R, Flat with a run time of 83 minutes.
SAW and SAW 2 have already amassed over 150 million dollars in US box office. SAW 3 promises many box office treats this October 27, Halloween weekend!

SAW 3 teasers coming out
Hey Folks!
I have some cool news about the BRAND NEW SAW 3 TEASER.
First, the Teaser is ENCLOSED with all our prints of THE DESENT.
Did you know that the trailer is Market Specific?
What is Market Specific?
Let me tell you. Let’s say you’re watching THE DESCENT in Boston. The SAW 3 Teaser comes up (because you’ve attached it to the print. Thank you very much by the ways.) At the end of the teaser, the “Saw Doll” turns to the audience and says, “Hello Boston, would you like to play a game?” If you’re in Chicago while watching THE DESCENT he says “Hello Chicago…” so on and so forth. We cut 20 different versions of 1 trailer! To my knowledge Lionsgate is the first to have done something like this. Now I did say the trailer is enclosed with ALL prints of THE DESCENT. So don’t fret if you’re not within the 20 markets. We’ve cut a special version where the puppet says, “Hello, America…”
And yes, Tobin Bell aka Jigsaw, did the voice over for each version!
Oh, I almost forgot. The only way to see the SAW 3 teaser is to see THE DESCENT. It will not be available anywhere else! We’ll be advertising that fact and making sure your movie goers know if they want to see the SAW 3 teaser they have to go to a theatre near them and see THE DESCENT.
Keep checking here at LGEXR.com for the latest news on Lionsgate movies, trailers and marketing materials.
